7th week.

And so it begins gentleman. We have 14 games in the next 30 days. hope you ready to bring it! For you seniors this will be your last chance for you to do something special in your high school athletic career. It's time we start putting everything together you guys have learned this year. I'm proud of the way you guys battled during summer & fall. We took a lot of beatings from some very good teams. But you know what? We battled back in every game and scored runs against them, we came back & scored 8 against Canoga after basically gift wrapping a 10 run first inning lead to them. Our offense is there. We need to start playing catch, making the right throws, hitting cut-off men, backing up throws,  knowing the base running situations, not missing signs, HUSTLING every second your on the ball field! Whether to your position or the dugout, or after a ball, RUN! All the little things that make good teams, great teams!

Monday-Tuesday: Monday I'll check field out. Probably going to be unplayable. if so Blacktop 3:45. Tuesday TBD, depends on the shape of field. 3:45 Blacktop if so.
WEDNESDAY, GAME DAY: Bus leaves @ 1pm sharp!
Thursday- Friday: Petit Pk 3:45- 5:30, Rides leave NAHS @ 3:20 ** Friday is Cesar Chavez day
Saturday: I need Zepeda, Thomas, James, & Jonathan for bullpen session, since we're playing on Monday, should only take an hour or so. Time TBD. Other players can come if they want to take BP off the guys while they're throwing bullpen.

6th week

Well who will the axe drop on this week. Teachers can start putting grades in this week. Hope everyone has done everything they can to be eligible. Remember we only have 11 players & a whole season yet to play.
Not sure what this week will be like with all the rain forcasted, but bring your stuff everyday. 10 days till our first league game.

Practice Monday: Meet after school @ lunch tables.
Tues - Friday: practice 3:45 - 5:30. Where?

5th week

Monday -Friday: Petit Park: 3:45-5:30. Rides leave @ 3:15.

Those of you who drive, for the rest of the year, you think you can help me out & take some teammates to practice. Or ask your mom if some teammates can ride along with you. It's impossible for me to give everyone who doesn't drive a ride. My truck is always full.

Remember grades are coming out soon. I hope you all have been keeping on top of your studying. Don't let you & your teammates down by being ineligible. We can't afford to lose any players!

4th week

Great job to everyone in our first game back. Winning sure does feel good huh. But as of Monday we forget about last game and get to the next one. After this Thursday we don't play for 20 days, OUCH! That sucks, it's going to be alot of practicing with no game time so prepare yourselves now.
Progress Reports are going out again I'll be handing them out this week. This grade coming out on the 30th will be the grade that will determine whether you'll be able to play baseball this year or not.You must have 2.0 or you will be taken off team, no ifs,  ands or buts! Just ask the guys from last year that happened to. Training for a whole year & not being able to play would suck. You have 23 days to work hard at not only baseball but school. Then we roll on and put some hurt on people.

Monday: Team to cleaners to get fitted. bring pants and cleats. you forget this time too bad! Ride leaves NAHS @ 3:15. Then to Petit for short practice.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Practice @ Petit Pk 3:40. Ride leaves NAHS @ 3:15
THURSDAY GAME DAY: Home vs. Canoga Park. Bus leaves NAHS @ 1:15
